Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 19 June 2026

1. Scope

These terms apply to use of the website, inquiries, online shop orders and services initiated through the website of Alpenstuben GmbH & Co. KG, unless different terms are agreed in an individual case. Hotel bookings through the online booking process are additionally subject to the room, rate, payment and cancellation conditions shown during booking. Restaurant, bistro and group inquiries are governed by the individually confirmed agreement.

2. Contracting party

The contracting party is Alpenstuben GmbH & Co. KG, Alpseestr. 8, 87645 Hohenschwangau / Schwangau, Germany, email Contact form, phone +49 (0) 8362 / 98240.

3. Website, inquiries and hotel bookings

Information on rooms, rates, gastronomy, opening hours and offers is maintained carefully but is not binding unless expressly marked as binding. A room booking is concluded when completed and confirmed through the vioma booking process or when we expressly confirm an inquiry. For accommodation services for a specific date or period, German law generally provides no statutory right of withdrawal; the cancellation terms shown at booking apply.

4. Online shop orders

The presentation of souvenir, voucher and shop items is not a legally binding offer but an invitation to order. You can place items in the cart, check and correct details and enter billing address, shipping address, payment method and order data during checkout. Before submission, essential product data, prices, VAT, shipping costs, discounts and total amount are displayed.

By clicking "Place binding order" you submit a binding offer. The contract is concluded when we confirm the order by email, ship the goods or provide the voucher or digital service. Order data and these terms are made available by email or in the customer account.

5. Prices, payment and delivery

Prices are in euros including statutory VAT where applicable. Additional shipping costs are shown in the cart or checkout. Available payment methods are shown in checkout and may include bank transfer/prepayment, invoice, PayPal, Stripe or Amazon Pay if enabled. Delivery is made to the shipping address entered in checkout and to supported countries.

6. Vouchers, codes, retention of title and invoices

Vouchers, discount codes and promotional benefits apply only during the specified period and under the displayed conditions. Cash payment is excluded unless mandatory law provides otherwise. Goods remain our property until fully paid. PDF invoices and, where required or enabled, electronic invoices may be issued.

7. Right of withdrawal

Consumers have the statutory right of withdrawal for shop orders unless a statutory exception applies. Details are available in our withdrawal policy. You may also submit a withdrawal electronically via /en/widerruf.html.

8. Defects, language, law and dispute resolution

Statutory warranty rights apply. The contract language is German. German law applies excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, this choice of law applies only where it does not restrict mandatory consumer protection rules of the state of habitual residence.

We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. The former EU online dispute resolution platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025.
